Dennitsa Nozharova

Dennitsa Nozharova is managing partner of the PtX Solutions Group. She holds a master's degree in law and worked as a lawyer in Sofia from 1998 to 2008, specializing in energy, environmental and administrative law.

Since 2008 she has been leading the development of wind energy projects as manager of a German subsidiary, and since 2013 she has also been Managing Director of PtX Solutions Group, specializing in renewable energy projects and hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Among other things, Ms. Nozharova managed the development and construction of the Kavarna wind farm for the Austrian energy company EVN.

Her technical expertise in the field of green hydrogen production is reflected in various studies on the hydrogen market: together with Werner Diwald, for example, she authored the "H2 Industry Potential Study Brandenburg".

From 2017 to 2021, Nozharova worked as an external consultant for the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (DWV) in several EU and national projects, including as a project partner in the EU project "HyLaw" for the harmonization of hydrogen legislation and the development of the "H2Global" funding program. She is also involved in other European funding programs for the regulatory design of the hydrogen economy.

Dennitsa Nozharova has also been Chair of the Board of the Bulgarian Hydrogen Association (BGH2A) since 2021. Under her leadership, the association was able to acquire significant EU funding - including for the Horizon Europe project "H2START", which established a Hydrogen Center of Excellence in Stara Zagora (EU contribution approx. €2.27 million). BGH2A also played a prominent role in the follow-up project "ZAGORA Sustainable Hydrogen Region (ZAHYR)", another EU-funded innovation project focusing on the energy system in Stara Zagora with a net EU budget of almost €8 million.
